For many years, I was fascinated by science fiction and its concepts. 

Moreso by Arthur C Clarke's 2001 A Space Odyssey imparting the birth of mankind to a spiritual  finality of sorts.

Ever present was a monolith.

It was black, of accurate dimension and was present at critical stages of mankind's development.

 

 

The concept struck me. How would it be if collectively we could make such a monolith for the Canberra War Memorial Museum and have exactly the same monolith replicated for the Auckland's War Memorial Museum in time for the 100 year anniversary for the commemoration of the end of World War 1 in 2018- in time for ANZAC Day?
